Karnal, November 15: Under the guidance of District and Sessions Judge and Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Ajay Kumar Sharda, and Chief Judicial Magistrate and Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Dr. Iram Hasan, the District Legal Services Authority and the Manavta Janshakti Foundation organized a large free health check-up camp on Saturday.
Haryana State Transport, Karnal, played a significant role in this service. The camp began at 9:30 a.m. in the waiting hall at the old bus stand and continued until 1 p.m., with hundreds of people attending and benefiting from the health benefits.
Dr. Virendra Chauhan, Director of the Haryana Rural Development Institute, honored the doctors and organizers as the chief guest at the closing session.
The program was presided over by Kuldeep Singh, General Manager of the Haryana State Transport Corporation, Karnal. Hardeep Rana, President of the Manavta Janshakti Foundation, expressed his gratitude to all the participants. General Secretary Sujita Mann, Kuldeep Chauhan, Advocate Monica Sharma, Pooja Verma, Sapna Sharma, Gulab Poswal, Pradeep Chauhan, Prachi Verma, Rajwinder Kaur, Deepak, Harshdeep Singh, and Karna Monga were present.
In addition, a team of experienced doctors from various renowned hospitals conducted free checkups for various ailments, including general health, orthopedics, heart disease, gynecology, dental problems, diabetes, and high blood pressure. Along with the checkups, essential medicines were also provided to the patients completely free of charge.
Ujala Cygnus, Sanjay Bansal Hospital, Amritdhara Hospital, Dr. Dhingra Clinic, and Arora Eye Center played a significant role in this successful event. Speaking as the chief guest, Dr. Virendra Chauhan, Director of the Haryana Rural Development Institute, said that this effort to provide healthcare to vulnerable sections of society is commendable.
Such camps are an excellent example of public service and play a vital role in raising awareness among the general public about health. This cooperation of the Manavta Jan Shakti Foundation and the District Legal Services Authority is worthy and commendable. He said that such public welfare programmes should be organised continuously in the future also.
