Jaito, November 3: In connection with the 350th centenary of the martyrdom of the ninth Guru Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, the Shaheed Nagar Kirtan started from Gurdwara Dhobari Sahib Assam by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and today left for its next leg Gurdwara Sri Ber Sahib, Sultanpur Lodhi from Gurdwara Khalsa Darbar Faridkot via various cities.
Before the departure of the Nagar Kirtan, the Hazuri Raagi Jatha of Sri Darbar Sahib performed Gurbani Kirtan in the religious hall decorated at Gurdwara Sri Darbar Sahib, Sri Muktsar Sahib and Granthi Singh Sahib of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib Giani Kewal Singh shared the history of the martyrdom of the ninth Guru Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji with the congregation. Before the departure of the Nagar Kirtan, Siropas were given to the Panj Pyare Sahibans and the prominent personalities present.
A large number of sangat including General Secretary of the Shiromani Committee S. Sher Singh Mandwala, Member Bibi Gurinder Kaur Bholuwala, Halqa Incharge S. Parambans Singh Bunty Rumana, Administrator of Gurdwara Sahib S. Sarabjot Singh Sahni, Additional Secretary S. Gurinder Singh Mathrewal, S. Preetpal Singh, Incharge S. Baljit Singh, S. Bhola Singh Hirewala, Head Preacher Bhai Sarabjit Singh Dhotian, Deputy Manager of Sri Darbar Sahib S. Kulwant Singh, MLA S. Gurdit Singh were present in the Nagar Kirtan.
