Garhshankar (Hari Krishan Gangar):- A Bal Vigyan Science Drama Competition was organised by the Education Department at Government Senior Secondary School, Bora, on the main theme “Science and Society”. The competition covered four sub-themes: “Artificial Intelligence: Friend, Tool or Challenge?”, “Electric Vehicles: The Road to the Future”, “Interstellar Habitats: Human Life in Space” and “Ocean Conservation: The Future of Coming Generations”.
The competition was organised under the guidance of Block Nodal Officer, Garhshankar-2, and Principal Inderjit Kaur, in the presence of school in-charge Arvinder Kaur. It was conducted by ASG Group BRC Ram Saroop, BRC Ram Kishan and retired science teacher Anupam Kumar Sharma.
Students from all schools in the Garhshankar-2 block participated in the competition. Government High School, Rampur Bilron, secured first place, Government Senior Secondary School, Dainowal, won second place, and Government High School, Pandori Beet, secured third place.
The competition was judged by Headmaster Dildar Singh, Science Master Harinder Singh and Pooja Rani. The students’ guiding teachers—Navjot, Pinky, Jyoti Sharma, Seema Rani, Sandeepa Rani Honey and Gurpreet Singh—along with the staff of Government Senior Secondary School, Bora, were also present.
