Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, July 23:- Under the directions of Cabinet Minister of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development Department Gurmeet Singh Khudian and under the leadership of Director Dairy Development Department Punjab Waryam Singh, the Dairy Development Department and Punjab Dairy Development Board are conducting a 2 weeks free dairy training course for SC beneficiaries from 03-08-2026 at Dairy Training Center, Chatamli.
Giving this information, Harwant Singh, Deputy Director Dairy SAS Nagar said that under this training scheme, training will be given only to those persons whose age is between 18 years to 55 years, who are at least fifth pass, and belong to the Scheduled Caste. This training is being conducted free of cost by the Punjab Government, for which there is no fee. Moreover, the trainees will also be given a stipend of Rs. 3500 per trainee after the training.
Dairy Inspector Miss Gurpreet and Miss Vartika appealed to the youth belonging to the Scheduled Castes that by getting this dairy training, they should take full advantage of the department's schemes and take their dairy business to commercial lines. In today's time, dairy business should be adopted to change the crop cycle of agriculture.
