Patiala, July 29:- Children are the adornment of the country, society and families. They are the basis of the future, respect, prosperity, progress and security of the country. The heads and teachers of educational institutions who make children aware of good health, fitness, culture, etiquette, duties and challenges of life are the nation builders and real gurus sent by God.
These views were expressed by Dr. Rakesh Vermi, President of Dedicated Brothers Group Patiala and Mr. Kaka Ram Verma, Retired Training Supervisor of Red Cross Society, while honoring the Principal of PM Sri Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Mr. Arun Kumar, teachers and students.
He said that commendable efforts are being made by the school management for environmental conservation. No tree has been cut in the school, but every year more and more plants are being planted and greenery is being increased.
On this occasion, Principal Mr. Arun Kumar said that with the help of the department, hundreds of saplings have been planted in about 4 acres of school land, which are being taken care of by students, teachers, parents and elders together. Dr. Rakesh Vermi appreciated Principal Mr. Arun Kumar's feelings towards the environment, thoughts and the right guidelines being given to the students and the parents. He said that such efforts are helpful in creating awareness about the environment in the society as well as making the new generation responsible citizens.
