Una, November 4:- Aadhaar seeding of pensioners’ bank and post office savings accounts is essential to ensure that social security pension benefits are transferred directly to their accounts through online mode. District Welfare Officer Awas Pandit has urged pensioners to ensure Aadhaar seeding of their bank or post office savings accounts so that the transfer of pension amounts continues smoothly.

He informed that beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Sukh-Aashray Scheme are required to upload their latest six-month life certificate, BPL certificate, income certificate and medical certificate on the official portal in April and September every year to continue receiving the benefits under the scheme. The medical certificate must be verified by the competent authority and should clearly mention the beneficiary’s long-term treatment.

He urged all concerned beneficiaries to upload the required documents within the stipulated period at himparivar.hp.gov.in/ekalyan. For further information in this regard, beneficiaries can contact their nearest Tehsil Welfare Officer or the District Welfare Officer’s office.
