Ambala, September 26:- Paramjit Singh Barola, who has been actively working in the social sector as president of the District Youth Development Organisation, has been elected director of the Vita Milk Plant Ambala City from Zone No. 1 of the Vita Milk Producers Cooperative Society Union Limited, Ambala.
According to sources, the BJP had put in considerable effort for this seat and had fielded Satnam Singh Panjola against Barola. However, Barola's popularity and rapport with the people once again helped him emerge victorious. Barola secured 14 votes, while his rival Satnam Singh received 8 votes. Paramjit Singh Barola won by a margin of 6 votes. After the results were announced, an atmosphere of happiness prevailed among his supporters and people of the area. People garlanded Barola and congratulated him on his victory.
Paramjit Singh Barola credited his victory to his colleagues, supporters and all voters, saying that the victory was not the achievement of any one person but the result of the trust and cooperation of all those who supported him during the election. Thanking all voters, he said that maintaining the trust they had placed in him as their representative would be his foremost responsibility. He said that the post of director was not merely a position for him, but a responsibility to raise the voice of dairy producers and cooperative members. He would try to work with all members of the area and play an active role in raising the issues of dairy farmers and milk producers on the relevant platforms.
Paramjit Singh Barola said that the basic spirit of cooperative societies is to bring all members together. Therefore, even after the election results, maintaining equal communication and cooperation with all members would remain his priority. He further said that efforts would be made to seriously address issues related to the problems and interests of dairy producers in the area and the strengthening of the cooperative system. He thanked all voters, supporters and associates who cooperated in the election process. He said that every voter's vote is important in the democratic process and that respect for all candidates and voters remains paramount.
People have expressed hope that Barola will work actively for the interests of members and milk producers associated with the Vita Milk Producers Cooperative Society Union Limited, Ambala, and effectively take the problems of the area to the relevant platforms.
