New Delhi, September 3 - The Union Home Ministry today said that the online process of nominations and recommendations for the Padma Award-2025 is going on and applications for this can be made till September 15. All citizens can nominate and recommend others including self-nomination for these awards. Nominations or recommendations for Padma awards will be taken online only on the national awards portal, the ministry said in a statement. It is to be noted that the Padma awards which include Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Sri are the highest civilian honors of the country. They were started in 1954.
