Una, October 9th - In order to provide better and easier transportation facilities to the public, the Himachal Pradesh Transport Department is planning to launch a new bus service between Haroli-Una-Shimla. This bus service will begin on October 11th.
Deputy Chief Minister and Transport Minister Mukesh Agnihotri will formally inaugurate this new bus service from the Haroli bus stand on October 11th at 4:50 pm.
HRTC Regional Manager Suresh Dhiman stated that the bus service will reach Shimla via the Haroli-Una-Nangal-Kiratpur (four-lane)-Bharadi-Bilaspur-AIIMS-Bharadighat-Darlaghat-Shalaghat route. Buses will depart from Haroli at 5 pm, Una at 5:20 pm, and return from Shimla for Haroli at 4:50 am.
The Sub-Divisional Manager stated that this new bus service will prove to be a milestone for the people of Haroli and Una. Furthermore, the service will prove extremely useful for residents of Una district and its neighboring state of Punjab, as well as for employees, entrepreneurs, and businesspeople working in Bilaspur and Shimla.
Notably, the bus service will also provide a new, shorter alternative route from Shalaghat to Arki. This service will reduce the journey from Haroli to Shimla in approximately 5–6 hours.
