Karnal, April 17- ADC Dr. Rahul Raiya stated that the NEET 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 3rd. In view of the examination, eight test centers have been established within the district, where 2,732 candidates are set to appear. All preparations must be completed well in advance to ensure the examination is conducted in an independent, fair, smooth, and transparent manner. Additionally, robust security arrangements must be put in place outside the examination centers.
ADC Dr. Rahul Raiya was issuing necessary directives to officials regarding the preparations for the NEET 2026 examination during a meeting held at his office on Friday. Prior to this, S. Narayanan, Director General of the Higher Education Department, held a meeting via video conference with all District Deputy Commissioners to review the preparations related to the examination.
During the meeting, he directed that proper arrangements for basic amenities—such as drinking water, restrooms, and electricity—be ensured at all designated examination centers. Furthermore, arrangements for ramps and wheelchairs must be made available at the centers. He also directed that smooth traffic management and adequate parking facilities for the candidates be ensured outside the examination centers. From a security perspective, a team comprising one ASI (Assistant Sub-Inspector) and four constables is to be deployed outside each examination center.
SDM Devender Sharma, DEO Rohtash Verma, Navneet Singh (representing KVS), and other officials were present at the meeting.
