Una, March 25: The 10-day mushroom production training program, organized by the Punjab National Bank Rural Self-Employment Training Institute (RSETI) in Una, concluded on Wednesday. On this occasion, certificates were distributed to the 35 participants who had completed the training. All participants successfully passed the examination.
Congratulating the successful participants, the Institute's Director, Sudhir Kumar Sharma, encouraged them to initiate self-employment ventures through mushroom production. He informed them that interested trainees could also avail themselves of loan facilities from the bank at low interest rates, should the need arise. During the event, Rajkumar Dogra, a Financial Advisor from the RBI, also interacted with the participants.
In addition to providing information on various social security schemes, the Director also apprised the participants of measures to protect themselves against cyber fraud.
He further announced that a free training program on Beauty Parlor Management would soon be launched at the institute, in which interested individuals aged between 18 and 50 years could participate. During the training, facilities such as stationery, uniforms, lunch, and refreshments will be provided free of cost, while arrangements for accommodation and dinner will also be made for participants traveling from remote areas.
Rajni Bala and Village Secretary Rajkumar were also present at the event.
