Sirsa (Jagmeet Ghuman):- With the aim of providing advanced specialist neurological consultation closer to home for patients in Sirsa and surrounding areas, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali, on Tuesday announced the launch of its Neurology OPD at Medicity Hospital, Sirsa.
As part of this initiative, Dr. Sawan Kumar Verma, Associate Director of the Department of Neurology at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali, will be available to patients on the third Thursday of every month from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. During these sessions, patients will be able to receive initial medical consultation, specialist health assessments and follow-up advice regarding further treatment.
Speaking about the importance of making specialist medical services available locally, Dr. Sawan Kumar Verma said, “In neurological disorders, timely diagnosis, an appropriate treatment plan and regular follow-up are extremely important. Our aim in launching this OPD in Sirsa is to make specialist neurological consultation available to patients closer to their homes. This will give patients an opportunity to consult specialists at an early stage of the disease and receive guidance on appropriate treatment.”
