Patiala (Manpreet Singh):- Dr Sanjay Singla from Patiala represented India at EASD 2026, the prestigious annual meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD). He was invited to present his research at the podium and was the only speaker invited from India.

He presented “The PRESERVE Trial,” a clinical study conducted under CYBORG – Decode Healthspan Clinical Intelligence. Dr Sanjay Singla and his team focused on an important challenge associated with modern weight-loss treatments: preserving muscle mass while losing weight.

As the use of weight-loss medications continues to increase, it has become essential for doctors to pay attention not only to how much weight a person loses but also to maintaining muscle strength and overall health.

Dr Sanjay Singla’s study examined the use of Amino 9+, a blend of essential amino acids, and creatine alongside GLP-1-based weight-loss treatments.

Presenting his research before thousands of leading doctors and researchers at EASD 2026 was a significant achievement for Dr Sanjay Singla and his team. It brought international recognition to their work on preserving muscle mass and promoting healthy weight loss.

“Weight loss is not just about losing kilos. It is also about preserving muscle mass, because muscles play an important role in keeping us strong and healthy, as well as increasing our life expectancy.”
