Hoshiarpur: On the fourth day of the Shri Ram Katha, being organized by the Shri Bade Hanuman Ji Sevak Sanstha, Hoshiarpur, under the leadership of Chairman and Katha organizer, former Mayor Shiv Sood, and President Rakesh Suri, Rajan Ji Maharaj continued the story of Lord Rama's incarnation, describing the Lord's divine exploits. On this occasion, the king was unable to express his joy after the arrival of the four brothers. Goswami Ji says that after the arrival of the four brothers, the people of Ayodhya experienced happiness, wealth, and the time of society that even Saraswati and Shesh Narayan could not describe. Goswami Ji says, "That happiness, wealth, time and society, Sharad Ahirwaja cannot describe it." Rajan Ji explained that the only joy in life is that which cannot be described.
Upon the arrival of Lord Rama and his brothers, men in Ayodhya began performing havans (fire sacrifices), and mothers and women came out of their homes with plates of gulal (coloured powder) to throw them. Their joy is indescribable. The gulal transformed day into night. The Lord asked Night why she was sad, and she thought, "I missed your appearance, but you incarnated during the day." The Lord replied, "I have arrived today, and when I incarnate in Dwapar, I will incarnate during the night." During this time, the Moon also visited the Lord and said, "Lord, I too have been deprived of your darshan."
During this period, Rajan Ji provided detailed information about the cycle of time. He explained that when all four yugas have passed, it is called a Chaturyuga, and when all four yugas pass 71 times, it is called a Manvantara. Each Manvantara has a king, called Manu. After this Kaliyuga, the 29th Satyayuga will arrive. Lord Krishna incarnated in the 24th Treta Yuga, and Lord Krishna incarnated in the 28th Dwapar Yuga. Rajan Ji continued the story, explaining that Lord Krishna incarnated in the Suryavansh (sun dynasty).
When Lord Krishna incarnated, it was 12 noon, and the Sun was right overhead. He paused briefly to have darshan of the Lord and witness the joy that had descended upon Ayodhya. During this time, he captivated the audience with the hymn, "Ghar Ghar Anand Chayo Ayodhya Nagari Mein." He described the Lord's various pastimes in a moving and philosophical manner, filling the devotees with devotion. All the devotees danced to the hymn, "Teri Mand Mand Muskaniya Pe Balihaar Raghav Ji," sung by Rajan Ji.
