Saroya, August 17:- Lok Sabha member Malwinder Singh Kang today paid obeisance at the historic Gurdwara Baba Gurditta Ji during the annual Jor Mela and sought the blessings of Guru Sahib. MLAs Santosh Kataria and Karanvir Kataria were also present with him on this occasion.
Addressing a large gathering of devotees after attending the annual Jor Mela, Lok Sabha member Malwinder Singh Kang said that he feels very fortunate to have paid obeisance at Gurdwara Baba Gurditta Ji during this annual Jor Mela. He said that the contribution being made by the Gurdwara Committee for the development of the area is very commendable.
He said that the present government led by Chief Minister Punjab S. Bhagwant Singh Mann has also started many initiatives for the welfare of every section of the society, following the path shown by the great Gurus and patriots of the state. He said that the state government is making tireless efforts for the development of the state without any discrimination and these efforts will continue in the future as well.
Lok Sabha member Malvinder Singh Kang also said that the state government is celebrating the days of great men of every religion with full enthusiasm and devotion in order to further strengthen the brotherhood in the state. He appealed to the people to participate in religious functions in large numbers and take blessings from the Gurus and great men and contribute their due share in the progress of the state.
On this occasion, Lok Sabha member Malvinder Singh Kang also reached the blood donation camp organized here. He said that blood donation is a great donation and by donating blood we can save many precious lives. He appealed to the people, especially the youth, to come forward to donate blood by joining the blood donation camps in maximum number.
He said that blood donation by the youth can play an important role in saving the precious life of a person and his family.
