Hoshiarpur:- Sant Baba Dalip Singh Memorial Khalsa College Dumeli, an educational institution running under the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, participated in the folk art exhibition organized by Guru Nanak Dev University on the occasion of the University Foundation Day. In which Jasleen Kaur, Harsimran, Tarun Sidhu, Dharamjit students of the college exhibited ancient artifacts highlighting various forms of Punjabi cultural and folk art.
On this occasion, Honorable Dr. Karamjit Singh Vice Chancellor, Dr. Karamjit Singh Chahal Registrar, Dr. Saroj Bala Dean College Guru Nanak Dev University specially attended and appreciated the exhibition organized by the college. College Principal Dr. Gurnam Singh Rasoolpur reiterated the commitment to the all-round development of the students of the college and said that the college will continue to provide such opportunities to the students to showcase their talent.
On this occasion, the presentation of folk songs, dialects etc. by the students of the college attracted the audience. The students displayed various heritage items in Punjabi cultural attire. The teaching and non-teaching staff of the college were present on this occasion.
