Patiala, October 4 (Manpreet Singh):- On the evening of October 4, 2026, S. Kashmir Singh Billa, Joint Secretary of the SC Wing Punjab, along with associates Pradeep Sapal, Gurwinder Kumar and S. Darbara Singh Ji, visited the residence of the late Gulzar Singh. They met his son Lakhwinder Singh and other family members and expressed their condolences. They said they were deeply saddened after seeing the condition of the family. According to the family, a person named Sukha Connector, who they allege is responsible for Gulzar Singh taking the fatal step, is still beyond the reach of the police and administration. The family further alleged that no appropriate action has been taken against the minister named in the case. The family said that threats to their lives are still continuing and that they are going through severe financial hardship. They demanded that justice be provided to the family and that the promise of providing a job to Gulzar Singh’s son according to his qualifications be fulfilled at the earliest.
