Karnal (Praveen Walia):- Under the able guidance and direction of Karnal Superintendent of Police, Shri Karan Goyal, IPS, the district police are continuously taking strict action against accused involved in serious criminal cases. In this connection, the team of CIA-1, led by Inspector Sandeep Singh, in-charge, and Assistant Sub-Inspector Madan Singh, arrested Himesh Taneja alias Kakun, a resident of Shanti Nagar, Karnal, in connection with the Aryan murder case.
The investigating officer stated that on October 12, 2026, a case was registered at Civil Lines Police Station, Karnal, under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including murder, and the Arms Act. In connection with the case, the police team had earlier arrested four accused. During the investigation, it came to light that Himesh Taneja alias Kakun was also involved in Aryan’s murder. Acting promptly on this information, the team apprehended him.
The CIA-1 staff team of Karnal arrested Himesh Taneja alias Kakun, son of Chetan Taneja, a tenant residing at House No. 3, Shanti Nagar, under Ram Nagar Police Station, Karnal, from the Ram Nagar area late in the evening. A previous case involving a quarrel and fighting was also found registered against the accused.
The arrested accused will be produced before the competent court as per the law. The police will seek his remand to conduct an in-depth investigation and ascertain further facts related to the crime.
