Jalandhar:- An event dedicated to the birth anniversary (5 May 1818) of the world's greatest theorist, economist, sociologist, revolutionary socialist, and brilliant intellectual Karl Marx will be held on 5 May at 11 am at the local Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall. While outlining the details of the event, which is organized every year on this day by the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee under the Bhai Santokh Singh 'Kirti' lecture series, Committee President Kulwant Singh Sandhu, General Secretary Gurmeet Singh, and Cultural Wing Convener Amolak Singh stated that in the event taking place on 5 May at 11 am, Punjab's well-known flag-bearer of the democratic rights movement, writer, and translator Buta Singh Mehmoodpur will share his views on the subject 'Relevance of Marxism in Modern Times'. Following that, the attendees will also exchange their views during the discussion.
