Hoshiarpur:- An important meeting of Government Teachers Union Block Kot Fatuhi was held at Kot Fatuhi under the leadership of Block President Narinder Ajnoha and District Leader Paramjit Katib. Acting District President Pritpal Singh Chautala was present in the meeting. The leaders said during the meeting that all the teachers who have been promoted from primary to master cadre in the education department in the past should be made to join after getting station selection.
Lecturers Amar Singh and Unkar Singh while addressing said that it is inappropriate to impose the condition of passing TET on teachers who have been recruited before 2011, due to which many senior teachers will be deprived of promotion. The leaders said that the meaning of promotion or promotion is based on experience and length of service.
The Education Department of Punjab is interpreting the rules of the Hon'ble Supreme Court less for education reforms but more to cause trouble to the teachers, while also refraining from implementing the pro-teacher decisions of many other Hon'ble High Courts. On this occasion, Pritpal Singh Chautala, Narinder Ajnoha, Paramjit Katib, Onkar Singh, Lehmber Singh, Amar Singh, Jasvir Singh, Baljinder Singh, Ajay Kumar, Manjinder Singh, Inderjit Singh and Balvir Singh etc. were present.
