Hoshiarpur: On behalf of the BJP Sports Cell, Punjab, former state president Dr. Raman Ghai honored Prajnay Chaudhary for winning the gold medal at the Punjab State Inter-District Primary School Games. On this occasion, Dr. Ghai said that under the guidance and supervision of coach Abhishek Thakur, Prajnay Chaudhary, a fifth-grade student of Epitome Ballard School, has brought glory to Hoshiarpur by winning the gold medal in the 32 kg weight category karate at the Punjab State Inter-District Primary School Games held in Ropar.
This will increase the interest of other children in the district in sports, and with hard work and dedication, they will pursue a career in sports and bring glory to Punjab and the country at the national and international levels. Dr. Ghai said that the current Punjab government has not yet formulated any specific policy for sports and athletes. He added that if the BJP government is formed in Punjab, special schemes will be developed for athletes and sports, providing them with facilities.
Dr. Ghai said that just as Punjab has given the country many international players in cricket, hockey, kabaddi, athletics, football and other sports, if the government provides special facilities to the players, then many more players in Punjab are ready to play for the country and bring glory to the country. On this occasion, coach Abhishek Thakur was also honored by the BJP Sports Cell Punjab. On this occasion, HDCA President Dr. Daljit Khela, Kulbhushan Sethi, Manish Sethi, Daljit Singh, Nikhil, Davinder Kaur etc. also congratulated Prajnay Chaudhary on winning the gold medal in Karate and wished him a bright future.
