HVAC Bus Service Between Chandigarh and Haridwar to Begin on October 23, 2026, Providing Better Convenience to Passengers: Transport Minister Anil Vij

Chandigarh, October 22:- Haryana Transport Minister Anil Vij said the state government is continuously working to provide passengers with smooth, safe and convenient transport services. In this direction, an HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) bus service between Chandigarh and Haridwar will commence on October 23, 2026, and its scheduled timings will prove beneficial for passengers. He said the service would provide convenience to passengers travelling between Chandigarh, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Saharanpur, Roorkee and Haridwar.

The Transport Minister said that departure and arrival timings for the bus at different cities had been निर्धारित keeping in mind the timely availability of bus services and passenger convenience. This would help passengers plan their journeys more effectively.

Bus Timings from Chandigarh to Haridwar

According to the scheduled timetable, the bus travelling from Chandigarh to Haridwar will depart from Chandigarh at 9:08 a.m. It will then depart from Ambala at 10:40 a.m., Yamunanagar at 12:00 noon, Saharanpur at 12:50 p.m. and Roorkee at 1:55 p.m. The scheduled arrival time in Haridwar is 2:40 p.m.

Return Bus Timings from Haridwar to Chandigarh

Similarly, on the return journey, the bus travelling from Haridwar to Chandigarh will depart from Haridwar at 3:50 p.m., Roorkee at 4:40 p.m., Saharanpur at 5:50 p.m., Yamunanagar at 6:40 p.m. and Ambala Cantt at 7:50 p.m. The scheduled arrival time at Chandigarh bus stand is 9:00 p.m.

Anil Vij said that an improved public transport system not only provides convenient travel to passengers but also strengthens connectivity between different cities. He said the present state government aims to provide better bus services according to passengers’ needs and ensure that they do not face any unnecessary inconvenience while travelling.

He said the Haryana Transport Department was committed to providing passengers with convenient, safe and smooth transport services. Vij added that this bus service on the Chandigarh–Haridwar route would offer passengers a convenient travel option.
