Bangana, June 6: The three-day district-level Piplu Fair in the Bangana subdivision will be celebrated this year from June 24 to 26 with devotion, cultural fervor, and enthusiasm. To ensure the fair's successful organization, Kutlehar MLA Vivek Sharma held a meeting on Saturday with officials from relevant departments, fair committee members, and public representatives to conduct a detailed review of the preparations.
The meeting involved detailed discussions on various arrangements related to the fair, the responsibilities of different committees, and necessary logistical provisions. The MLA instructed officials to complete all preparations in a time-bound manner.
MLA Vivek Sharma stated that the Piplu Fair would be formally inaugurated on June 24 with a traditional procession and a flag-hoisting ceremony. Special programs reflecting the region's folk traditions and religious beliefs will be organized. Given the expected large turnout of devotees and the general public, the administration has been directed to ensure all necessary arrangements are in place.
He remarked that the Piplu Fair symbolizes the region's cultural identity, religious faith, and historical heritage. The participation of the administration, public representatives, and local residents will play a crucial role in the fair's success.

**Cultural Evenings to Showcase the Essence of Folk Culture**
The MLA mentioned that the cultural evenings at this year's fair would be made particularly attractive. The cultural programs scheduled for all three days will provide a platform for both Himachali folk artists and local talent.
One day of the fair will be dedicated entirely to school students, allowing them to showcase their talents through folk dances, group songs, speeches, plays, and other cultural performances.

**Sports Competitions to Attract the Youth**
Various sports competitions, including volleyball, kabaddi, tug-of-war, basketball, and wrestling, will be organized during the fair. Players and teams demonstrating outstanding performance will be honored. **Dog Show and Exhibitions to be Key Attractions**
This year, the dog show at the Piplu fair venue will be a major attraction. Additionally, various government departments will set up exhibitions showcasing development schemes, public welfare programs, and departmental activities. **Special Focus on Traffic Management**
The police department has been entrusted with the special responsibility of ensuring smooth traffic flow and crowd management during the fair. Necessary instructions have been issued regarding parking, vehicle movement, and security arrangements.

**'Star Night' on June 26 to be the Main Highlight**
The MLA announced that a grand 'Star Night' would be organized on June 26, the final day of the fair. Performances by renowned folk artists from Himachal Pradesh, alongside Punjabi singers, will serve as the main entertainment attraction for the audience.
