Chandigarh, February 8:- Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi said that work has started on the development projects announced by Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini for the area worth crores of rupees. On the completion of these projects, Narwana will emerge as a developed area. He said that Narwana area has taken a new leap of development. In the future, this pace of progress will be accelerated and the residents of the area will start getting the benefits of development projects.
Cabinet Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi was speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony of the new building of the local PWD Rest House on Sunday. He laid the foundation stone of the three-storey building of the rest house to be built at an estimated cost of Rs 9 crore 54 lakh 80 thousand.
The Cabinet Minister said that this building will be equipped with modern facilities and rooms and offices will be built on its two floors to accommodate very special people. The target for completing the construction of this building has been set for June 2027.
The Cabinet Minister said that soon, on the long-standing demand of the residents of the area, the construction of new buildings of the bus stand and civil hospital will also be started. Narwana is in the forefront of an educated, safe and developed area, this is their dream and they are constantly striving to realize it.
The Cabinet Minister said that the work of laying pipelines has almost been completed to free the city residents from waterlogging during the rainy season and to provide better sewage system. Basic facilities like education, health, drinking water, electricity, roads and canal water are being expanded extensively in the city as well as in rural areas. The state government is continuously working towards realizing the vision of all-round development of the state.
While participating in the Shri Bhagwat Katha being conducted at Baba Gaibi Sahib Temple, he said that India is the land of Sanatma culture and Vedic rituals and by following them, Baba Gaibi Sahib Temple is publishing indescribable spiritual inspiration in the area.
The people of the area have unwavering faith in Baba Gaibi Sahib, whose gift is a happy and auspicious life to the people. The Cabinet Minister provided financial support of Rs. 11 lakh on behalf of the Chief Minister for necessary facilities at the Gaibi Sahib Temple.
