Chandigarh, August 4:- The formal flag hoisting ceremony of the 110-foot-tall giant national flag will be held at 4:00 PM on August 5 at the Kairon Administrative Block at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.
The ceremony will be led by the Governor of Punjab and Administrator of the Union Territory of Chandigarh, **Shri Gulab Chand Kataria**. On this occasion, senior officials of the institute, faculty members, staff and other distinguished personalities will also be present.
According to the PGIMER administration, this ceremony is being organized with the aim of further strengthening the spirit of national unity, patriotism and respect for the Tricolour. Media representatives have also been invited to cover the event on this occasion.
