Jaito, June 15:- The five-day camp organized by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee under the management of Dharam Prachar Committee for the principals, teachers of Sikh missionary colleges, Gurmat academies and schools and religious teachers of schools and colleges under Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee under the theme “Gurmat Education and Teaching Guidelines” at Bhai Nand Lal Public School, Sri Anandpur Sahib was completed recently.
As per the instructions of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, during this camp dedicated to the 650th Parkash Purb of Bhagat Ravidas Ji and the 450th Foundation Day of Sri Amritsar Sahib, various Sikh scholars shared their views on important topics related to Gurmat education, teaching methods and religious propaganda.
In the function organized on the occasion of the conclusion of the camp, Interim Committee Member S. Daljit Singh Bhinder, SGPC member Bhai Amarjit Singh Chawla, Bhai Ajaib Singh Abhayasi, S. Sukhwarsh Singh Pannu, Secretary S. Gurinder Singh Mathrewal and Head Granthi of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib Giani Joginder Singh specially participated.
The five-day Gurmat camp was inaugurated by the Jathedar of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib and the acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj. During the camp, speakers said that such efforts should continue continuously to connect the nation with the progress of the nation and the young generation with Gurmat.
Dharam Prachar Committee Secretary S. Gurinder Singh Mathrewal thanked everyone for the success of the camp and said that taking inspiration from the ideas shared by the scholars, more efforts will be made to prepare high-quality ragis, dhadis and preachers. He also appealed to the teachers to work with more enthusiasm to connect the children with Gurmat.
Bhai Nand Lal Public School Principal S. Satnam Singh welcomed the guests who arrived at the event, while Bhai Amarjit Singh Chawla also shared his views with the teachers.
On the first day of the camp, Dr. Inderjit Singh Gogoani gave information about the Gurbani Santhiya and the basic points of training, while Principal Surjit Singh shared his views related to Gurmat Sangeet. On the second day, Dr. Sarabjit Renuka expressed his views on ways to instill a sense of Chardi Kala in students and Principal Kulraj Singh expressed his views on the importance of living a high-quality life and personal life.
On the third day, Dr. Davinder Singh Johal shed light on topics related to education and psychology, while Dr. Ravinder Singh shared his views on the social messages of Bhagat Ravidas Ji's Bani. On the fourth day, Dr. Satinder Singh Bodal gave information about Kirtan styles and methods of Riyaz, while Dr. Jaswant Singh expressed his views in detail on the contemporary contexts of religious education.
On the last day of the camp, Bhai Ajaib Singh Abhishek and S. Sukhwarsh Singh Pannu shared their views on the challenges faced by the Panth and their solutions. During the closing ceremony, the principals, in-charges and teachers were also honored by the Dharam Prachar Committee with a certificate of appreciation.
On this occasion, in-charge Dr. Jogeshwar Singh, Rajpal Singh, Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib Manager Malkit Singh, Additional Manager Hardev Singh, Supervisor Bhupinder Singh, Jasvir Singh, Paramjit Singh, Malkit Singh, Bhai Gurbhag Singh and other administrators also performed their services.
