Chandigarh, April 21:- Financial Commissioner of Revenue and Disaster Management and Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Sumita Mishra, who is also the State Nodal Officer for Census 2027, today successfully completed the self-enumeration process through the online Census portal at the Civil Secretariat here, promoting digital participation for Census 2027.
This initiative demonstrates the availability and simplicity of the online self-enumeration process facility, through which citizens can submit their Census details in an easy and time-bound manner. This will also reduce the need for physical visits and make the process more seamless.
Dr. Sumita Mishra said that accurate and timely data is essential for policy planning and its implementation. She appealed to the citizens of the state to make the most of this user-friendly, secure and easy online facility and ensure their active participation in Census 2027.
Shri Lalit Jain, Director, Census Operations, Haryana and Shri Hema Sharma, Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department were present on the occasion.
