Chandigarh: Vandana Rana, a female security guard posted at the Trauma Center of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector-32, has set a commendable example by demonstrating her honesty, dedication, and sense of responsibility.
During the morning duty today, a gold ring belonging to an attendant of a patient fell somewhere in the Trauma Center. While on duty, Vandana Rana found the ring. Without any greed, she immediately informed her supervisor and, in their presence, safely returned the ring to its rightful owner, Kavita.
Witnessing Vandana Rana’s honesty and integrity, the patients present, their family members, and the hospital staff praised her immensely. Upon receiving her ring back, Kavita expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Vandana Rana and appreciated her honesty.
Those present on the occasion remarked that such examples are a source of inspiration for society today and prove that honesty is still alive.
