Fatehabad, March 2:- Ved Phulla, Chairman of Harcofed and in-charge of Sirsa district, issued a press release stating that the 2026-27 Budget presented today by the Honorable Chief Minister of Haryana, Mr. Nayab Singh Saini, is a clear roadmap for balanced, inclusive, and forward-looking development of the state. It is a matter of particular pleasure that Fatehabad district has been included among the 10 cities for which a special fund of ?500 crore has been earmarked for improving the infrastructure of industrial areas. This will significantly improve roads, sewerage, drainage, electricity, and other infrastructure in older industrial areas and provide new impetus to industries.
He said that the budget's projected per capita income of Haryana to reach ?3.95 lakh is a testament to the state's strong economy. The government has made several far-reaching announcements for industry, agriculture, environment, education, and youth.
In the interest of farmers, the formation of a new power company/board, "Haryana Agri Discom," has been announced, which will accelerate the availability of tubewell connections to farmers. 5,084 agricultural feeders and millions of consumers will benefit from uninterrupted power supply. This initiative will strengthen the rural economy.
For a brighter future for youth, provision has been made to train 100,000 young people in AI (Artificial Intelligence), and an AI Innovation Challenge has also been announced. This is an important step towards making Haryana a leader in technological innovation.
Ved Phulam clarified that in addition, the "Haryana Green Climate Resilience Fund" will be established with ?100 crore.
