Patiala, October 3:- Blood donation is a noble service, and every young person, woman and man should always contribute to the service of humanity. A healthy person between 18 and 65 years of age is eligible to donate blood, provided the person weighs more than 45 kilograms and has a haemoglobin level above 12.5 grams. This information was shared by Dr. Rakesh Verma, a 90-time blood donor and Founder-President of Dedicated Brothers Group, Registered Punjab, Patiala. Former Red Cross Chief Training Officer Shri Kaka Ram Verma and DBG Emergency Blood Bank Project In-charge Dalpreet Singh Bainipal conveyed the message that everyone should always follow the path of truth and help the poor and needy. They said that performing good deeds and saving precious human lives brings inner satisfaction. Apart from Dalpreet Singh Bainipal, 31-time blood donor Amaninder Singh Saini, Dr. Rakesh Verma, Ashok Sharma, Om Prakash Singla, Harjit Singh Bedi, Er. Surinder Kumar Kochhar, Bhupinder Singh Chauhan, Jasvir Singh and Smt. Brijlata Jain were also present at the felicitation ceremony.
