Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, December 19, 2025:- In order to maintain law and order in the district, District Magistrate Smt. Komal Mittal, in exercise of the powers vested in her under Chapter 11 (Section 163) of the Indian Civil Protection Code, 2023 (46 of 2023), has imposed a complete ban on public display of weapons in the district of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar.
Along with this, there will also be a complete ban on songs glorifying weapons or violence. Apart from this, there will be a complete ban on carrying and displaying weapons in public gatherings, religious places, wedding parties or other functions and a ban on giving hate speeches against any community will also remain in force.
The District Magistrate said that if anyone, general or specific, is found violating these orders, then appropriate legal action will be taken against him.
These orders will be in effect from December 11, 2025, to February 10, 2026.
