Hoshiarpur:- On the auspicious occasion of New Year, District Ayurveda and Unani Department, Hoshiarpur conducted Sri Sukhmani Sahib Path with devotion and respect in the holy presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji at the District Administrative Complex today. The purpose of this event was to wish for happiness, prosperity, peace and public welfare in the new year.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur Ashika Jain and Sub-Divisional Magistrate Gursimranjit Kaur were also present and prayed for the progress and prosperity of the district. The Deputy Commissioner appreciated this initiative of the District Ayurveda Department and said that such spiritual events strengthen mutual brotherhood and positive thinking.
On this occasion, District Ayurveda and Unani Officer Dr. Surinderpal Kaur, District President-cum-Nodal Officer Dr. Harish Bhatia, Dr. Pradeep Arora, Dr. Shivdeep, Dr. Hardeep, Dr. Karuna, Dr. Kamini, Dr. Rupinderpreet, Dr. Rabjot, Dr. Gagandeep, Superintendent Daljit Kaur, Manu Bansal, Saurabh Sharma and many other officers and employees were present.
Apart from this, former District Magistrate Dr. Bhupinder Kaur, DSP CID Sanjeev Kumar, Sandeep Nanda, Jagjit Singh and other dignitaries also participated in the program. Guru ka langar was served at the end of the program.
