Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, August 03:- The special documentary film prepared by the Punjab government dedicated to the 650th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidass Ji is receiving a huge response from the devotees in the villages of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar district. Under this series, a large number of devotees in villages Daon and Bahlolpur yesterday watched this documentary film based on the life, teachings and message of social equality of Sri Guru Ravidass Ji.
Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Komal Mittal said that this documentary film dedicated to the 650th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji will be shown in all the villages of the district so that maximum people can get inspiration from the great life of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji, his teachings and the message given for the welfare of humanity.
She said that Sri Guru Ravidas Ji did a great job of strengthening the values of equality, brotherhood and humanity in the society. His ideas still show the right path to the society today.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the main objective of the events being organized by the Punjab government dedicated to the 650th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji is to connect the new generation with the life and philosophy of the great Guru Sahib Ji.
