Hoshiarpur- Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain today held a monthly meeting with the revenue officers to review the progress of revenue works at the district level. In the meeting, various revenue matters, schemes and pending works were reviewed in detail and the officers were instructed to complete the work in a time-bound manner. The progress regarding EG registration and renovation of Mukerian Tehsil Complex was discussed in the meeting. Along with this, the current status of the Naam ‘Mera Ghar Mere Naam’ scheme was also reviewed.
Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain took a detailed review of the collections related to stamp and registration. She gave instructions to expedite the collection of pending land revenue arrears. Apart from this, the status report of ongoing land acquisition cases, Khasra-wise mapping, Musavi-cadastral digitization, Jamabandi, Digital Crop Survey and Easy Jamabandi services (online services, Mutkal, Report, Fard Badar, Bank Login ID creation etc.) were reviewed.
In the meeting, he directed the SDMs to expedite the process of providing compensation to the flood affected people and deposit the compensation amount in the accounts of the beneficiaries with crop damage. Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain instructed the officials to make all the services of the Revenue Department available to the common people in an easy and transparent manner.
