Chandigarh, August 3:- The Haryana Government has constituted a high-level committee under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary, Finance and Planning Department, to include various organizations under the purview of Service Security Portal under the Haryana Contract Employees (Service Security) Act, 2024 and Rules, 2025. Along with this, the deadline for registration and verification on the Service Security Web Portal for various categories of contract employees has also been extended.
As per the orders issued by Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Rastogi, the Administrative Secretary of the concerned organization and Special Secretary, Human Resources Department will be the members of this committee. In addition, a representative of the Advocate General of Haryana (not below the rank of Additional Advocate General) has been included as legal advisor.
The committee will prepare a certified list of eligible institutions by examining the proposals received regarding institutions falling under the category of authority as defined in the Act. In addition, it will evaluate the proposals sent by various organizations through their respective Administrative Secretaries along with agenda notes. The committee will also lay down specific and objective criteria for inclusion of institutions as per the definition of authority as mentioned in Section 2(f) of the Haryana Contractual Employees (Security of Service) Act, 2024.
In the same vein, the state government has also decided to extend the deadline for various stages on the portal www.securedemployees.csharyana.gov.in. This extension will be applicable to four categories of contract employees - Computer Faculty of School Education Department, Computer Lab Attendants, Contract Employees appointed through DITS (excluding Hartron) and Contract Employees of Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
As per the revised schedule, eligible employees will be able to register themselves on the portal till August 7. After this, verification of applications by the concerned DDO will be done by August 14 and verification by the concerned Head of Department by August 21, 2026.
The Chief Secretary has directed all the concerned departments to ensure completion of all the procedures within the stipulated time frame. Along with this, the time frame should be strictly followed and any kind of delay in the process will be taken seriously.
