Chandigarh:-  Today, BJP Vice President Dr. Subhash Sharma and a team of leaders from Nawanshahr district paid obeisance at the holy site of Shri Nabha Kanwal Raja Sahib in Banga. On this occasion, the BJP leaders also met with the management committee and assured them of the party's full support. Talking to reporters about this, Punjab BJP Vice President Dr. Subhash Sharma said that this place is a great center of faith. While millions of people in Punjab have faith in Shri Nabha Kanwal Raja Sahib, the Sikh community residing in India and abroad is also connected to this holy place. Dr. Subhash Sharma said that we are very saddened that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann made baseless allegations against this place at the Aam Aadmi Party rally during the Maghi Mela, which is being condemned everywhere. The BJP strongly condemns CM Mann's statement and the action being taken against the management committee by the SIT.
He said that the committee officials informed them that they had shown all the facts to the Special Investigation Team, with which the SIT officers were also satisfied. They also stated that complete decorum is maintained here. Continuous Akhand Path (recitation of the Guru Granth Sahib) takes place, and renowned Ragi Jathas (groups of religious singers) come here to perform Kirtan (religious hymns) and enlighten the congregation. Therefore, the government's statements regarding such a place are highly condemnable.
Dr. Subhash Sharma said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann should apologize for his statement, and if any FIR has been registered, it should be immediately withdrawn. He criticized the Mann government, saying that the government has failed to fulfill its promises to the people of Punjab, and therefore Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is making such baseless statements to divert people's attention.  Several senior leaders were present on this occasion, including Nawanshahr BJP District President Shri Rajwinder Lucky and former MLA from Banga, Shri Mohan Lal.
