Kapurthala- Under the Punjab Education Revolution Mission, the Punjab Government provided a grant of Rs. 9 lakh 55 thousand to the Government Elementary School of village Nathu Chahal. The inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed modern classroom equipped with LED panels and furniture was held with great pomp.
The chief guest “Sr. Kanwar Iqbal Singh Ji District Chairman, District Traders Commission Excise and Taxation Department Kapurthala” arrived with his colleagues and dedicated the modern classroom to the students. On this occasion, District Education Officer Mrs. Mamta Bajaj, Head Teacher Deepak Kumar, Principal Gurcharan Singh Chahal, Gurdev Singh Chahal and Sarpanch Dalwinder Singh along with other personalities present at the event welcomed the chief guest Kanwar Iqbal Singh with a bouquet of flowers.
Sarpanch Dalwinder Singh and Mr. Gurdev Singh Chahal gave a special description of the achievements of the school being run with the help of the government. Gram Panchayat Nathu Chahal and dignitaries and District Education Officer Mrs. Mamata Bajaj, Block Education Officer Kapurthala-1 Mr. Rajesh Kumar, CHT, Madam Neeru Bala, Jaimal Singh, Gurinder Singh, all the teachers of Block Kapurthala participated in the program in large numbers. Head Teacher Deepak Kumar, all the staff and SMC Committee members warmly welcomed all the dignitaries present.
