Hoshiarpur, July 28:- District Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer Ramandeep Kaur said that District Employment and Entrepreneurship Bureau-cum-Model Career Center, Hoshiarpur organized a Career Guidance Program and Employment Registration Camp for students at Government Senior Secondary School Jejon Doaba.
Inaugurating the program, Varinder Kumar of District Employment Office made the students aware about the various facilities provided by the Employment Bureau. He gave detailed information about employment registration, career counseling, skill courses, placement services, P.G.R.K.A.M. Portal, National Career Services Portal and the Employment Office's mobile app DBEE Online.
He told the students that by downloading the DBEE Online app from Google Play Store, information regarding private and government jobs can be obtained sitting at home. Apart from this, he advised the students to make planned preparations for their future careers from now on and to contact the Employment Bureau for any kind of help.
On this occasion, Senior Assistant Manohar Lal registered the students for employment on the spot and also informed them about the process of manual registration.
The entire staff of the school and 95 students participated enthusiastically during the career guidance program.
Finally, the Principal and all the staff of Government Senior Secondary School Jejon Doaba thanked the District Employment and Business Bureau, Hoshiarpur and appealed to organize such career guidance seminars in the future as well.
