Gohana/Chandigarh, December 7, 2025:- Under the leadership of Shramjeevi Journalists' Association Haryana, the Gohana district unit of the association will organize a state-level journalist felicitation ceremony in Gohana on Sunday, December 14. Haryana Cabinet Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma, BJP State President Mohan Lal Baroli, and several political and administrative figures will participate.
Giving more information on the above topic, Shramjeevi Journalists' Association Haryana Founder and State President Dr. Indu Bansal Jain said that this is the sixth state-level journalist felicitation ceremony of the association. Earlier, the association has organized five state-level journalist felicitation ceremonies in Karnal, Palwal, Rewari, Pataudi and Nuh.
Dr Bansal said that at the state-level journalist award ceremony to be held in Gohana, Haryana, Cabinet Minister Dr Arvind Sharma and BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli will launch the Working Journalist Welfare Fund as a special gift for journalists, which will provide financial assistance to journalists working in the state.
Dr Bansal said that the funds received from this Working Journalist Welfare Fund will be used for various assistance programs, including construction of working journalist houses, marriage of daughters of working journalists, education of children of working journalists, organization of intellectual camps and trips for working journalists, working journalist award ceremony, assistance to dependent families on sudden death of working journalists, organization of health check-up camps for working journalists and annual commemoration of working journalists.
Dr. Bansal appealed to all donors, benefactors and the government of Haryana and across the country to support the Working Journalists Welfare Fund, appealed to everyone to support this noble cause and contribute to the upliftment of working journalists.
Dr. Bansal said that Gohana Nagar Parishad Chairman Rajni Inderjit Virmani, Anjali Shrotriya (SDM Gohana) Bharti Dabas (DCP Gohana) will be present with honor in this state-level journalist honor ceremony to be held in Gohana on Sunday, December 14.
Along with this, the President of the Gohana unit of the Sangh, Program Coordinator and Program Chairman Anil Jindal and hundreds of journalists associated with the Shramikjeevi Journalists' Association Haryana from across the state will be present.
