Hisar: The Aam Aadmi Party has said that the anguished cries of Haryana's youth trapped in the Russia-Ukraine war have shaken the entire state. In a press statement, the party's district president, Rajendra Sorkhhi, said that Aman, a youth from Madanheri village in Hisar district, cries in his video, saying, "I was told I would get a job as a security guard, but after 10 days of training, I was sent straight to the border. Bombs are falling everywhere. People are dying, I could die at any time. Get me out of here." Rajendra Sorkhhi said that this video would shock anyone. Youth, who are the future of the country, are a matter of great concern after being caught in such a crisis.
AAP District President Rajendra Sorkhi attacked the state government, saying that the Chief Minister promised to provide employment to the youth, but today, these same youth are trapped by fraudulent agents in search of jobs and forced to fight in Russia. Rajendra Sorkhi said that these agents are roaming villages across the state, luring innocent youth into their trap and making their own profits.
Dozens of young people from Haryana have been sent to Russia since last year. According to a report from the Ministry of External Affairs, at least 12 Indians were killed by October 2025, and 85 are still trapped in the Russian army. These include young people from Hisar, Kaithal, Rohtak, Jind, and Bhiwani. The lives of young people are very precious. Therefore, the state and central governments should take immediate and stringent steps to ensure the safe return of all young people stranded abroad.
