Hoshiarpur:- Giving impetus to development works in the Hoshiarpur assembly constituency, MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa laid the foundation stone for the road to be constructed adjacent to Baba Charan Shah Dera. The construction of this road will cost approximately Rs. 14 lakh. During the foundation stone laying ceremony, MLA Jimpa informed that the road from the crematorium in Bahadurpur to the Shri Ramcharit Manas office will be tiled, while the road beyond that will be paved, providing relief to the people of the area from a long-standing problem.
Giving further information, MLA Jimpa said that along with the road construction, the necessary pipeline will also be laid so that there are no problems related to water and sewerage in the future. He said that this road will prove to be very beneficial not only for the residents of Bahadurpur but also for the people of the Chand Nagar area. The construction of this road will facilitate transportation and provide convenience to devotees and local residents.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Jimpa said that his priority is the overall development of the area and that there will be no compromise on works related to the basic amenities of the public. He instructed the officials to complete the construction work within the stipulated time frame and with high quality.
On this occasion, Mahant Raminder Das of Dera Baba Charan Shah expressed his gratitude to MLA Jimpa and said that the construction of this road will greatly benefit the devotees visiting the Dera and the people of the surrounding areas.
Many dignitaries and local residents, including Hoshiarpur Mayor Surinder Kumar Shinda, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini, Councillors Balwinder Bindi, Dripan Saini, Nikka Saini, Anurag Sood, and Raja, were present at the foundation stone laying ceremony. Everyone welcomed this development work and called it an important step for the area.
