Una, April 14 – On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar today (Tuesday), Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri paid floral tributes and homage at his statue in Lalari, within the Haroli Assembly constituency.
Speaking on this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister stated that Babasaheb's inspiring life stands as a symbol of struggle, equality, education, and social justice. Through the Indian Constitution, he provided the nation with a robust democratic foundation that granted equal rights, dignity, and opportunities for advancement to every section of society.
The Deputy Chief Minister remarked that Babasaheb's ideals continue to inspire the citizens of the country to walk the path of unity, harmony, and progress. He urged that by embracing the principles he espoused, we must further strengthen the spirit of brotherhood, equal opportunity, and justice within society.
Subsequently, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri participated in various programs focused on social welfare and distributed financial assistance checks to needy individuals. He affirmed that the state government is committed to the welfare of every section of society, and delivering relief and support to the needy remains the government's utmost priority.
