Karnal, November 11: Under the guidance of the Superintendent of Police, Karnal, the district police has launched a fortnight-long campaign to raise awareness among women about their rights. School, college, and other women are being educated daily about their safety and rights. Karnal Police has been committed to ensuring women's safety since its inception.
In this regard, a team led by Sub-Inspector Babita visited the Government Senior Secondary School, Uchana, Karnal, and the Government Model Sanskriti Primary School, Shamgarh, Karnal, to educate female students about women's safety. Sub-Inspector Babita told the students that by remaining silent, we often encourage criminal activities.
The police team also cautioned the students about good touch and bad touch. The team also advised them to be mindful of anyone following them while going to and from school. Sub-Inspector Babita also cautioned the students about the evil eye and the evil eye. The female sub-inspector took some of the school girls into confidence and inquired about their problems. After knowing these problems, she immediately resolved them.
The girls were also informed that a team named Durga Shakti has been formed in the district for women's safety. It is always ready to help in schools, colleges and crowded areas of the city. The team encouraged the girls to seek help from Durga Shakti in case of any problem at home, school or anywhere else.
Lady Inspector Rajesh Lata ji also explained to the girls about the POCSO Act. The team also made the girls aware about using the women's helpline numbers 1091 and 112 for help in emergency situations. On this occasion, Lady Inspector Rajesh Lata, Sub-Inspector Babita, school staff and girls from the police team were present.
