Garhshankar, October 4:- The annual Jor Mela of the ancestors of the Karra Gotra will be held with the cooperation of residents of the entire area at the religious shrine of the ancestors in village Binjo, Tehsil Garhshankar, District Hoshiarpur, on Sunday, October 4, 2026.
On this day, the ceremony of lighting lamps and the Nishan Sahib ceremony will be performed first. Thereafter, the Bhog ceremony of Shri Akhand Path Sahib will be held, followed by religious congregations.
On this occasion, tea and snacks, as well as Guru's Langar, will be served continuously.
The sevadars on the occasion will include former minister Sohan Singh Thandal, Bibi Balvir Kaur Thandal, Husn Lal, Balwant Singh (former Chief Engineer, Patiala), Mukaddar Karra, Jasvir Karra, Rashpal Karra, Gyan Singh Numberdar, Rajkumar Raju, Charanj Lal, Hardyal Singh, Okar Singh, Dharampal Karra, Mahinder Pal Badian, Lachhman Singh Amritsar, Ramjit Karra, Tirath Karra, Master Somrath Karra, Tarsem Karra, Kuldeep Saloh and others.
