Karnal, October 25: A team headed by Inspector Tarsem Chandra, Station Head of Police Station Sadar, Karnal District Police Station, arrested Sonu, son of Rajendra, resident of village Dhakwala Gujran, Police Station Sadar, Karnal, on the basis of credible evidence, who had stabbed and murdered a young man over a minor altercation.
Informing about this, Station Head Inspector Tarsem Chandra said that last night, October 23, 2025, at a wedding ceremony in the village, the accused called Aditya, son of Manoj Kumar, to a secluded place on the pretext of DJing, and beat him up and stabbed him with a knife over a minor altercation.
Aditya was seriously injured and was taken to Kalpana Chawla Hospital for treatment, where he died during treatment.
A case has been registered against the accused in this incident at Sadar Police Station under sections 103(1), 190, 191(3), and 61 of the Indian Penal Code, dated October 24, 2025. The accused will be produced in court tomorrow, and the investigation into the involvement of other accused in this case is ongoing.
