Una, June 25: The Ajoli-Sanoli road section (Punjab border, km 3/400 to 4/600) in the Una subdivision will remain temporarily closed to traffic from June 26 to September 26. During this period, traffic will be diverted to the Sanoli-Melwan road.
Una Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal has issued orders to this effect under Sections 115 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that these orders have been issued to facilitate the speedy and smooth execution of road strengthening works. He has directed the concerned officials to inform the public about the road closure and to install advance signage providing details regarding the route diversion.
