Una, November 17 – The state government has issued a notification regarding the expansion of the Una Municipal Corporation. The notification, issued under Section 3(3) of the Himachal Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act, 1994, proposes to include the Patwar Circle Bhadolian Kala, Mahal Tabba, and a partial area of ??the Tabba Gram Panchayat within the municipal corporation limits. This information was provided by Una Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mahendra Pal Gurjar.
Mahendra Pal Gurjar stated that the proposed area has a total area of ??0.40-18 hectares, encompassing 30 Khasra numbers. These include Khasra numbers 2597/80 to 2607/80, 2608/81 to 2616/81, and 2617/82 to 2626/82.
**Objections can be filed within two weeks
The Commissioner stated that anyone affected by this proposed merger and having any objections or suggestions may submit their written objections to the Principal Secretary (Urban Development) through the Deputy Commissioner, Una, within two weeks from the date of publication of the notification in the e-Gazette.
He stated that the State Government will only consider objections received within the stipulated time period. Any objections received after this time period will not be considered.
