People from the community from across the state, along with national, state and district-level office-bearers of the Akhil Bharatiya Agarwal Sammelan, have been specially invited to the programme.

A significant meeting regarding preparations for the anniversary celebrations was held at the Agroha Shaktipeeth complex on Friday. Detailed discussions were held on programme preparations, arrangements, decoration, religious programmes and facilities to be provided for devotees.

Vipin Goyal, State President of Akhil Bharatiya Agarwal Sammelan Haryana, said that Maharaja Agarsen’s birth anniversary is a festival of pride, devotion and inspiration for the entire community. Agroha, besides being the place of Maharaja Agarsen’s deeds, is also a historic and sacred heritage of the Agarwal community. Therefore, the celebration being organised at Agroha Shaktipeeth holds special significance for the entire community.

He said that Maharaja Agarsen was not only a great king but also a pioneer of socialism, equality, non-violence, philanthropy and public welfare. He established a system in his kingdom in which every person had the right to live with dignity. Maharaja Agarsen regarded his subjects as a family and gave the message of establishing economic and social equality in society.

Vipin Goyal said that the greatest feature of Maharaja Agarsen was his welfare-oriented system of governance. His principle of “one brick and one rupee” remains an example of social cooperation and mutual brotherhood even today. Through this tradition, collective support was provided to help a new person become established in society. Maharaja Agarsen opposed animal sacrifice in Yajna, adopted non-violence and showed society the path of compassion, kindness and service.

He said that the life of Maharaja Agarsen continues to be a source of inspiration for society. The tradition of his 18 gotras and 18 principles gave society the message of organisation, cooperation and unity. Today, there is a need not to limit the ideals of Maharaja Agarsen to the anniversary celebrations alone, but also to adopt them in our personal and social lives.

Vipin Goyal said that Agroha Shaktipeeth is not merely a religious site, but a major centre of faith, history and unity for the Agarwal community in India and across the world. Celebrating Maharaja Agarsen’s birth anniversary here is a matter of pride for all of us. He appealed to all members of the community to reach Agroha Shaktipeeth with their families on October 11 and, while paying their respects at the feet of Maharaja Agarsen Ji, pledge to uphold unity, service and cooperation in the community.

He said that people from all sections of society have been cordially invited to the समारोह. He appealed to all Agarwal brothers, women and youth to participate in large numbers and make the programme successful.
