Hoshiarpur:- As everyone knows, in the past, the public and farmers in various districts of Punjab have suffered heavy loss of life, property and crops due to floods. In this regard, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann has made a well-planned plan for immediate relief for the flood victims.

Under which, compensation of 20 thousand per acre for the loss of crops in the villages and compensation for other financial losses by conducting surveys of Hoshiarpur, Mukerian, Tanda, Chabbewal and Sham Churasi constituencies are included. In this regard, the Chief Minister has given instructions to complete the survey and girdawaris within 40 days and send a report.
Member of Parliament Dr. Raj Kumar today spoke to the concerned Deputy Commissioners in this regard and asked them to implement these instructions immediately. He asked Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain to issue guidelines to all the concerned officers to conduct a completely impartial and fast track survey in the district.
On this occasion, Dr. Raj Kumar said that while he has released an amount of Rs. 50 lakh for the repair of Dhussi Dams of Mukerian and Kukar Dam of Chabbewal, the reconstruction and repair work of these dams will be started very soon and it will be ensured that before the monsoons next year, district Hoshiarpur is prepared in such a way that our people do not have to face such losses again.
In this difficult time, he himself and the Punjab government are with all the residents of Punjab and the benefits of government schemes can reach the victims as soon as possible.
