
Deputy Commissioner inspected the proposed drug prevention and rehabilitation center in Isapur
Una, February 19- Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal visited Isapur on Wednesday and inspected the building of the proposed drug prevention and rehabilitation center there. This center will be set up with a facility of 50 beds and will be operated by Gujan Sanstha. The center will be opened in the government building available there, which was earlier in the use of the Forest Department.
Una, February 19- Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal visited Isapur on Wednesday and inspected the building of the proposed drug prevention and rehabilitation center there. This center will be set up with a facility of 50 beds and will be operated by Gujan Sanstha. The center will be opened in the government building available there, which was earlier in the use of the Forest Department.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the SDM to prepare an estimate for the necessary repair and improvement works in the building. He emphasized the concerned officials to develop facilities for sports like yoga, badminton, volleyball as well as creative activities like gardening and farming in this center, so that the people undergoing treatment here remain in an active and positive environment and their rehabilitation process can be more effective.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that this center is an important step in the fight against drug addiction. Along with rehabilitation, our aim is to give a positive environment to the affected people, so that they can bring their lives back on track. For this, activities related to yoga, sports and skill development will be promoted in the center.
After this, the Deputy Commissioner heard the public problems in Isapur. During this, he inspected the problem of water drainage on the road and the wires hanging from the electric poles with the local people and instructed the SDM to ensure immediate repair work.
On this occasion, District President of Congress Ranjeet Rana, SDM Haroli Vishal Sharma, District Welfare Officer Anita Sharma, Secretary of District Red Cross Society and CPO Sanjay Sankhyan, representative of Gujan Sanstha Dr. Baldev Dogra and others were present.
